Marjorie R. Candalla, MBA

Marjorie Candalla is the Manager of Administration and Finance for the Penn Institute for RNA Innovation.  She oversees and monitors all financial operations of the Institute, its scientific groups and cores.  She handles multi-year budget planning, reconciliation and analysis, as well as annual financial closing.  She provides financial and operational oversight of procurement, travel and expense management, accounting and reporting functions, and payroll administration.    

Marjorie has extensive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, business operations and research administration in higher education.  She joined the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and has held various budget and finance roles during her time at the university.  Prior to joining Penn, she worked at Temple University, where she earned an MBA degree with a concentration in Accounting.
